Overheard at AMC

Random stupid woman walking out of "Into the Wild":

"Well, it was really good. Until he died." Um, have you been living under a rock? Every freaking review of that movie says it's based on a true story about a kid who went off to live in the wilderness and did not survive.

Are there really people out there who SO RANDOMLY choose a movie to see that they don't even know what it is about? Like, do you just show up at the theater and pick the one that is starting right then?

Have any book clubbers who read the book seen the movie?
